Enga's 100% Arabica coffee beans are organically and sustainably grown on family plantations and roasted in Ballarat, ensuring rich, clean flavour.
As a cash crop, coffee is invaluable. Most of the population of Papua New Guinea live in traditional, rural villages, where they are self-sustained; growing crops and raising livestock for their own use. This subsistence farming means that there is little, if any left, for trade. Therefore, the monetary income received from selling their coffee is very important for necessities such as school fees and medications.
By purchasing our coffee you are contributing to the success of many small PNG family plantations.
